New custom seats for jigmaster, squidder, surfmaster, etc

 Here are a couple using stock black jigmaster side plates. These can be done on a low budget platform

  501 & 99 width

The huge advantage the new seats have over the stock Penn seat is the ability to have much longer screws holding the seat, which is where most twisting occurs under a load. Here is an example: A Seaboy 190 with the old seat and stock short screws, and the extra long screws that I used to replace them.

 Now... back to more options. The Seaboy 190 is "99" width. Swap over to 500 width seat and 3/0 spool and result is its an extra wide Seaboy. These new seats fit Surfmaster, Baymaster, Jigmaster, Squidder, and many other conventional Penns

   I'm working on a Surfmaster project, and I've already procured some longer screws to use with Ted's stand. The short screws in the pic below are stock...huge difference. What a fantastic piece Ted, the anodizing is perfect, looks nice and deep. 8)

Hey guys, FYI

Here are the stock Penn seats they replace and reels they fit.
If I'm off on any of these, or missing any, please let me know  :)

They will replace Penn part numbers:
30-49 fits the 100, 110, 180, 190, 146, 49, 249, 501, 506, Monofil 25.

30-66 fits the 65, 66, 99, 112H, 145, 150, 160, 165, 209, 210, 309, Monofil 26.

30-200 fits the 49A, 140, 155, 200, 25, 250, 259, 350, 500, 500S, 505, 67, Monofil 27.
