I got a chance to go fishing with a friend.  We started with bait in a familiar spot that has produced some halibut recently,  my buddy got the first few fish and we released them as they were small,  then I switched to jigs,  as the water slowed.
Using light gear a couple of homade 9 oz kodiak clones picked up several more,  then thinking 🤔 of Dave's purple octopus 🐙 was sent down with a filet of herring tied on with elastic thread 🧵.  Bingo.
Happy camper.   🎣.    Thanks again Dave.

Heavenly halibut coming up...Dinner time.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

If you put all the halibut that Gary has caught end to end, how many times around the planet would it go?!!
