Did Abu make left handed 4000 series reels?  I want to build a 4501 C4 for makanaw jigging.  I need a spool and frame.

Not that I'm aware of, I searched high and low for a customer.  I ended up getting a frame for a 4601 and removed the thumb bar.  For the spool, there's a seller on eBay that has brand new 4600/4601 spools of the new style, deeper and lighter weight so you'll have more line capacity.  He wants like $13 each for them.

Someone on ebay recently purchased one of these frames from JdTreasures  Hope it was you who got it, since I didn't see any others listed.   Ereplacementparts indicates that they have to order the parts, so maybe Pure Fishing has them.
