Old Lures

Hey guys sorry its been so long since ive been on here. Life is hectic and I had to close Ramsey Reel Repair. I have a friend that found these old lures and as I dont know anything about the old lures I thought Id ask yall. Do you know what they are and are they worth anything? I know the one is a Heddon Vamp but thats about it.

Had to dig through some of old lures and notes and look on E-bay for current pricing but here is what I found .

Your Friend has what looks like a Wooden Heddon Vamp with painted Eyes .
If it had the Box and Paperwork it might bring 12-20 dollars in the condition it is in .
IF it had Glass Eyes you could double that or more .
The other Lure appears to be a Bomber 300 Series maybe a #305 and is worth 3 to 5 dollars without the Box and paper work . Double to maybe tripple that with Box and paperwork .

The good ol' days. Cedar, metal lips, wood screws and some with plastic eyes. The Backwards Bomber was a great crawdad imitation. If you went after toothy fish such as Northern Pike they would have battle scars. The red-head/white body combo was a surprisingly good color.

Well since you already have an answer I'll add 2c. I have a small box of painted wood poppers I was going to sell off cheap, then I decided I'll fish them. Pretty sure they're not worth money.

Well if any have Glass Eyes they may be worth a look at to see if they are worth sumpin . Multiple Hooks ,unusal Hardware are things to look for as well
I think it was Heddon who carved some wood frogs and gave away to some of his customers and those are bringing thousands

Go to Guy on those would be Captain John in Round Rock Tex. I can send him some pix if you want to post them . Ya never Know bout these .
