In the intro and closing segment of The Rockford Files at the very end it pretty much looks like Rockford and his Dad Rocky hanging out on the pier with a couple of Penn's. - john

Rockford files was first filmed at paradise cove pier. It got washed away during a huge El Niño swell so they moved it to Malibu pier, I think that's the one in that episode. Isaac Hayes was awesome in that show, he called Jim rockfish.  One of my all time favorite shows
