Wow! great reel Ted. i like how the "fisherman" in that film not only loses 2 fish, but the rod n reel as well!

In the intro and closing segment of The Rockford Files at the very end it pretty much looks like Rockford and his Dad Rocky hanging out on the pier with a couple of Penn's. - john

 John, Rockford files ?? You're showing your age lol...What a hunk James Garner was...and I bet Pontiac sold a ton of that same Firebird he drove....yes, I watched that show too, so I guess I must be old as the hills

Rockford files was first filmed at paradise cove pier. It got washed away during a huge El NiƱo swell so they moved it to Malibu pier, I think that's the one in that episode. Isaac Hayes was awesome in that show, he called Jim rockfish.  One of my all time favorite shows
