Okuma Titus TG 20 II

Customer sent in a Titus TG 20 II.  Got it going but the shift assembly is not working.  It's stuck in low gear.  Hoping someone has and idea of why it's doing that.  Shift button will not lock down either.

it's all spring loaded.  with a ton of corrosion, it could easily become stuck.  the entire drive shaft will likely have to come apart.
