Thank you kindly! I had not even considered that type reel seat! I had been looking for something similar to the ones used in the old yellowfin conversions. Reel seat with a block on top to bolt on. I will have to see if the flat reel seat as you kindly posted would work for the height. I suppose a block in between the seat and frame would work as well. Thank you Alan!
