Edit: I bought 3x10x4 to upgrade 60's 5000. They don't fit...still hunting.

I think Pre-mid 60s ish they had a wonky #### size of  3.1195x10x4 bushings for the spools, I have no idea why.  Then there was a slight revision to 3x10x4 standard size around the mid 60s

If you wanted to do a bearing swap you would need a spool from the "bearing configuration" revision or a bearing configuration aftermarket spool.  Avail makes one
