Had no idea these were bring so much.  I've got one on the shelf waiting for the right rod.  Geez.

I parked for a while on that one, too!  Only two bidders and they really duked it out for that one.

I'd like to see the workmanship inside that machine.

This is not indicative of the prices on these D.A.M. Fly reels.

Although excellent fly reels in the 45 and 55 size —- They are not worth anywhere that much.

This was just a couple of bidders who got caught up in a bidding and ego war.

I have always figured out values by taking the last (10) "SOLD" items in similar condition —-

Toss out the highest & lowest numbers —- then average the other 8.  That is your true number for that week.

Typically, these reels are in the $60 - $100 price range.
