I had and used a power rod wrapper/dryer

The wrapper has the rollers so turning the rod is very minimal.

It had the sewing machine motor that would crawl as slow as possible.

Run what ya brung ! A drill motor runs a bit fast and the variables are spaced really close.. a sewing machine motor and foot pedal are super cheap on eBay .. you can buy a cheap chuck from Mudhole. The reostat in the pedal makes it way more controllable

Although a power wrapper is nice..... A hand wrapper is just as efficient unless you're doing a lot of decorative wraps.
