Hello
How do I remove the rotor for a DM 110?

Remove the rotor hex nut and the washer under that nut —-

Then, with the crank still on the reel to hold the worm pinion from spinning —- UNSCREW the rotor in a counter-clockwise rotation.  It is threaded to the worm-pinion.

The threads are very fine threads — and there is a steel pinion inserted into a softer aluminum rotor.  So be careful when reattaching it in place.  If it is cross-threaded (easy to do) —- a new rotor will be necessary.

Thanks for the reply Fred.

Where would this site be without you?

It would be just fine!

The way Alan designed and set it up —- there are plenty of folks with plenty of knowledge.

Sort of like dropping a rock in the pond —- pretty soon it is just a smooth surface again —- and no one ever missed the rock!
