good luck. just back from a 2.5d. daytime bite was very tough for our group. water in the zone 61-62. fish were not on surface so only those who got a hot bait down seemed to get bit. 20-30# small hooks. definitely bit jigs better at nite.

I tagged the coffee maker front and center!

It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

The bite shut down on us...I went 1 for 4 on my bft bites. I pulled the hook on 2 and got bite off on my 100# topshot. I'm guessing the fish swallowed the entire 3 ft jig leader...A friend on the boat gave me a couple of his fish so I still came home with a bunch of fish...

Yeah all the boats that fished this past weekend had a tough go of it. Eric caught a cow at 205# and another standout was a 160# but most tuna were between 30-60 pounds....

It seems my last 2-3 trips were tough fishing so I'm beginning to think I'm cursed. You can start calling me the Count Killer or Limit Cooler!

Now to start prepping for the July 3 day!!!!

Here's a few pics from the trip...

Eric was fighting a 216# cow!

I am forecasting an epic July trip so prepare accordingly.  :d
