I picked up a Quick 106 and I'm not sure where it fits year-wise in the history of the reel line.  It looks like a more recent version than the 110N but older that the Quick 1001 reel.

Midway Tommy

Around 1970. It was part of Dam's econo series. They're not real high quality, especially when compared to their worm gear driven reels.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)

Not a worm drive reel, that's a bummer. :(

It'll catch fish just fine, John —-

The difference between this reel & a DQ, Penn, or Cardinal Worm-Drive reel is like comparing a real train to a toy train.

I would fish it and enjoy it.

It looks to be a fine condition reel.

Not bad reels.

The first rule of fishing is to fish where the fish are. The second rule of fishing is to never forget the first rule.
