Giant Black Hole 6 feet

Hi friends, I am writing to you for a technical opinion. I would like to build a swordfish rod with this blank. my fishing style involves the stand up technique. the seabed where I fish for swordfish is up to 1650 feet deep. I would like to combine this blank with a Butt Winthrop #2 in order to have a certain angle when the swordfish runs along the bottom.
I thought about cutting the black hole giant "6 from the  butt side  bringing the blank to an overall length of 5.4 feet. What do you think? Do you have any suggestions on this topic?
