I got a bunch of reels with a DQ 4000 in the batch! It is a right hand wind! I thought that this is a 4001. I cleaned it up and winds great. Tried to switch to left hand wind but seems that the cross wind gear arm is specific to left hand wind. Can we change with the right part to left hand wind??

If you will remind me after we return from the East Coast around the 24th —- I can send you an opposite crosswind connector.

I never make the same mistake twice.

I make it 5 or 6 times, you know, just to be sure.

I just swapped a 3000 over to left crank...a 10 minute job (with the proper oscillation arm.)
