Coldwater issue

I have 7 Coldwater cw203d reels and 4 of them have the same issue. The clutch bars have a lot of play in them.They still work fine but I'm sure they'll cause me problems soon enough.I took one apart but couldn't find the problem. I would imagine the problem is either the clutch shaft or the clutch spring. Has anyone had this issue? Any idea's? Thanks Jhm
