My name is Dean Buffington I was born & raised in San Diego Calif.Some great fishing out their. I had a 13 ft Boston Whaler I fished the Bait Barge most of the time. Moved to Mobile Al in 1970 worked at Mack Trucks for 33 years, Body shop Mgr for 25 & Service Mgr for 7 by that time I had enough. Retired now & love it. Love to fish & ride my 3 motorcycles. 93 Honda Nighthawk, 2006 Suzuki Bandit, 2000 Kawasaki Concours. I was a member years ago here. I have a very nice collection of reels in the neighborhood of about 350 of every kind. Most of them with boxes and condition new or almost new. Alan had a lot of good info on DAm Quick reels I have 13 of those most new 4 with boxes. 6 or 7 700b's and the rest 800's Wow what a great reel.
Got a hurricane headed close to us rt now. I fear those things very much. lot's of damage over the years dealing with those. Got some questions but intro is more important rt now.
