recommend rod for orvis 100a

just picked up a orvis 100a. what rod do you recommend? size line?  i'm planning on using it for trout.

I would opt for a med/light 6-12#,  6'+ rod (preferably graphite but fiberglass would be fine, too) with 6# or 8# test Trilene XL, but rod length would be your personal preference. Personally, I prefer a little shorter rod around 6'. You could also go a step lighter or heavier with an Orvis 100 or 100A.
