Kast King Zephyr (w/Drag Clicker)

Well Prime day was my undoing   I just had to have a Kast King Zephyr LH(w/drag clicker) The specs at the site state it comes with Nippon Miniature Bearing Co. bearings, I believe <Tincanary> has mentioned before their quality. I ordered a set of Roro SIC bearings to compare. The reel arrives today & I will do a cast test with both types of bearings when the Roro's get here.

Get out to the lake to meet some friends for a few drink last night ,took a new kastking reel to try out ,cast very good, farther than I expected and end up lost my float to other side of bank ,no backlash at all as the mag brake work good .Have some hit feel like bluegill but no crappie or bass .lake level is very low . Surprise it have drag clicker on bait casting reel and I like it

Drag clicker always on,no slider on these guys.

So there's a clicker when something pulls against the drag but not when the reel is in free spool?

Yes drag clicker work just like most spinning reel not clicker when free spool for some catfish reel ,on these reel always have switch to turn clicker on or off. I never have any reel that have drag clicker this is the first

I missed this guy 3 times last night & 3 times this a.m. he finally took the 6" zoom blk/red glitter lizard.
I loaded the Zephyr up with 10# spider wire, it's a different hookset than mono I have to get use to

I reely would like to stress the point of how much fun this reel is to fish with.I am right handed so When I got into BFS
I began with only left handed reels.I can cast a crappie jig 100' with a sidearm flick of the wrist,not having to change hands to retrieve the lure is a plus, & being used to spinner reeling no difference there.I installed Roro SIC bearings & it
