Another Garage Sale Find

Was at a garage sale yesterday watching my wife buy planter pots when I noticed a Phenix M1 In Shore rod with a Tranx 400HG leaning up against a tree.

Naturally I asked about it and he said he was given that set up for his birthday last month and hates baitcasters.

Brand new, never seen water, not a single rash mark on it, $$300.

A quick run to the ATM, $300 later, and a bit of an upset wife later it was mine.

I've been on the hunt for a Tranx 500, still am, was a bit surprised at the size difference between the 400 and 500 models. I took a photo of it with my Komodo SS 463, Lexa-400 for a size comparison.

Managed to not sleep on the couch so she wasn't too upset!
