Crab Pot

We met Joel Snyder on the Morro Bay Trip on Sunday.

He's the owner/co-owner of Stoopid Baits which he was passing out on the trip for folks to use.

Buy it nice or buy it twice.

Really nice guy. I brought 6 pounds of whole squid, so I didn't use any of Joel's baits, but I could see that they were out-fishing me.

Look who was on the Stoopid Baits Facebook website.

The guy who owns the company, Joel, was on the boat with us Sunday handing out his weighted tube bait creations. I fished all day with his 1/2 ounce tubes (like a shrimp fly rig) as did many others. I don't know if they outperformed the fly's but I was impressed and bought more at the landing.

You can't beat the Stoopid Baits for our local Central Coast fishing.  Deep water, shallow water, it makes no difference, the rockfish and ling cod love 'em!  They work great for halibut and white sea bass too.

Stoopid Baits

Stoopid Joel here, had an absolutely awesome time fishing with you guys!

I really appreciate you all giving Stoopid Baits a try and especially appreciate all the wonderful things you guys have said about us.

Being stuck in the depths as we are right now, we're really restricted to using 1/2oz Stoopid Baits on Dropper loops, and 10oz Stoopid Bolts.

Once we're back in the shallows, the real fun begins! We love throwing tandem 1 and 1.5oz Stoopid Baits on our Sliding Stoopid rig and chucking single 2 and 3oz Stoopid Baits for big shallow reds and Ling.

It would be awesome to see you guys back out next season during the all depths and we can show you the full versatility of Stoopid Baits Products.

Again, it was awesome fishing with you guys and I hope we can do it again sometime soon!!!

Thank you Alan!

The long and short of Stoopid Baits is that we hand make tube baits in extremely limited quantities.

During the season we make new patterns every week, and we rarely repeat patterns - so nearly every pattern we make is one you don't have and one the fish have never seen!

Several of our products contain both glow in the dark pigment as well as a product that's fairly new to the fishing industry - glow in the dark glitter!

We have multiple sizes ranging from 1/2oz all the way up to 16oz.

We're working hard to get our website up and running for sales and in the meantime, we're filling orders through Facebook, Instagram, and email.

Again, I appreciate you all and thoroughly enjoyed fishing with those of you that joined us last week!

Stoopid Baits

Good morning all, Joel from Stoopid Baits here.

I talked to Alan the other day and he told me to go ahead and throw this post up. I have no idea how to start a new thread, so I'm just piggy backing off of this old one.

The end of last season got a little dicey for us. We had a number of people attempt to order from us only to find out that our retail stores were buying up our stock left and right, and we were absolutely unable to keep up with demand.

While it wasn't an end of the world problem for us, it was pretty crummy for our customers.

We've remedied the problem for this season by establishing separate stock for our customers and retail shops, and www.stoopidbaits.com is up and running for business!

As a sorry to those here who were affected, promo code 'AlanTani' will get you guys 10% off, orders over $50 get a free Stoopid Bait, and orders over $75 ship free!

We're also doing a free giveaway on Facebook for those of you interested in that sort of thing.

Hope to see some of you guys out in Morro Bay this year, we'll likely be teaming up with The Endeavor again and we'll be making those trip announcements starting next month through the email sign up at www.stoopidbaits.com.

Smooth seas and tight lines to all!

Once I talk to Captain Brad and we get everything nailed down, I'll post on here for sure.

Tentatively, we'll be running every Sunday like we did last year.

This year, we'll be alternating between 12 hour long range (north of the lighthouse, weather permitting) and 10 hour full days.

April 1st to the end of June we'll have access to all depths, so big reds in the depths followed by Ling Cod and other great fishing in shallow water!

It was a bit of a cluster for awhile. The website is making a huge difference!

I know we were talking back and forth there for a while right when all that happened, so if you end up putting in an order, I'll make sure you're extra taken care of!
