Hello
I did a search for how to "tanized" a reel.
I had read a post that suggested that.
 But cannot find any info.
 Can someone enlighten me.
Im presuming it is a maintenance tech.
 Thanks for any reply

It is a fly reel with disc drag....inexpensive "Kastking"

Polish the parts that move and lightly grease everything

Thank you for your reply.
I was hoping it didnt require some kind of secret password or handshake.

If you are here on this board it would probably mean any of the following:

1. Greased carbon fiber drag washers
2. Greased or oiled bearings (spool bearings oil, everything else packed with grease)
3. Screws and holes greased
4. Upgraded handles and arms
5. Stainless steel gear sleeves
6. Drag profiles mapped on lever drag reels
7. Spools lightly greased and flex tape added before spooling
8. Braided line spoiled under 10#+ drag
9. Rods bent to determine max drag
10. All fish landed under 40 minutes (John 😆) optional 😉
11. First rule of Tani Club, we don't talk about Tani Club 🤣

It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

All that he said with the understanding that you aren't going to find a "gear sleeve" on that reel. If you do, we need to talk :)

Do you have a photo?  I can't find mention of a KastKing fly reel anywhere.

But, in searching, I learned that Weihai, China is the Fishing Tackle Capital of the World.  Looks like a nice place.
