Have an opportunity to purchase a lot of Garcia Mitchell reels that need maintenance. I know the 302 are considered saltwater reels. Are the 304, 306, and 400 considered saltwater reels?

304 & 400 definitely not salt water reels.

306 is.

As is the 302, 303, 402, 403, 499, 498, 488, 496, 497, 486, 487, 396, 397,386, 387, 307.

The 304, 400, and other Mitchells can be used in Salt Water —- but they will desintegrate very quickly.

Money well wasted.  The larger guys will do a good job.

I never make the same mistake twice.

I make it 5 or 6 times, you know, just to be sure.
