I'm almost afraid to write this post. It's the right premise for my current emotional state. I saw that on the Tiagra, Penn and Avet there are more custom options for handle and T-bar knob. On the aesthetic level, and I stress purely aesthetic, the Knob of my Mk 50 sea... does not satisfy me at all. In fact, in all honesty, I have always found this factor to be the only negative point of a perfect reel. I saw that the brand new MK SEA Mahi Mahi color have a new knob and crank. In my opinion aesthetically perfect. For me this was the only point on which I had to complain. I am writing to you because I would like to buy a new crank that has a more attractive design, I repeat it is a purely aesthetic question of a maniac, yes I know... I am, but fishing is also beautiful for this.

The Mahi versions on Okuma website show the same handles as the silver versions.

Unfortunately not my dear friend, if you look carefully the handle t bar knobs are different. The Mahi Mahi version is perhaps the perfect version among all the Makaira series. Even on the aesthetic details, Even the t bar knob is really cool

Have you seen Alan's upgrade handles?

Alan does not make the smaller ones but the big ones would be best on this reel.

The Mahimahi reel has the same handle as the regular Makaira in most product shots I've seen.

I see in the picture above it has a chromed plate covering the screw, I haven't seen that anywhere else, handle looks otherwise identical.
