I just bought an Olympic 51 on eBay
Does anyone know the line capacity and weight of line to use
I am going to use it on a Jarvis Walker Hawkesbury River rod
Thanks

Any schematics or service videos for this reel
It just arrived and needs some love

It's like a Penn knock-off.  The schematic for any Peen about that size will be pretty close.  Match the parts up with the schematic and take pitchers as you disassemble it.

When I was a kid, an elderly neighbor gave me a NIB Olympic that her son had sent her from Japan.  There was a felt bag and brochure inside the box, but no schematic that I recall.  From what I could tell, it was laid out and built as well as a Penn.

Your Olympic reel is an exact duplicate of a Penn long beach 60

There is a grease nipple which is cool that goes to the gear and a leaf spring for the dog which I am now trying to figure how to fit it back in ( I forgot to take a picture 😩)

Thanks maxed out
I finally put it all back together for the 3rd time and I think I did it correctly
I will check the long beach out on you tube 👌

As I recall, you need to know Alan's four-finger-grip-to-hold-everything-in-place,-then-swing-the-bridge-around trick.

Yes 🤣
It's achievable with a bit of swearing
