I got a deal on two Shakespeare 2062's, one complete, one rough. I would have had two working reels, but I launched the anti-reverse spring into orbit. That reel also has an incorrect but working handle, and could use a drag knob.

I received a very cheap Ted Williams IV, missing the bail arm screw. I'm trying to use the screw from the 2062, with some frustration. I don't know if the two screw are identical. The bail arms are different, as are the other side of the bail.
I also might be installing it wrong. This is a difficult bail spring to install. I had to hold it upside down to keep the spring tab in the bail arm slot.

Does anyone know for sure is the bail arm screws are identical?
Who has a secret stash of Royal Maroon parts?

don't know the Ted Williams IV, all my Ted Ws are Coptes Italian-made..
if the bails are not visually identical I would not put money on the bail screw fitting..

the 2062s are cheap enough I'd just buy yet another one ;-)
waited for mine and bought one in v. good condition, hope to fish it in Boundary Waters Canoe Area this year. I've taken it out for walleye locally but not persuaded any yet..

I have a partial Shakes 2062. The a.r. spring is in there. Complete bail, but no bail screws. I broke both of them off, so the rotor is no good either(stripped out threads). No spool and no handle. So the spring is probably it 🤗. Lemme know if you want the spring, or any other parts I might have.
Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!
