Now I just need to learn how to read Italian...with a business card from one of the authors stapled inside.

Nice!

I have been using a translate app with a camera option. There are lots of choices.  Just run the app on your phone or tablet and point the camera at the page.

Jurelometer's solution is infinitely more practical than mine; which would be to give the book and a few bottles of top shelf wine to Dominick to translate.... - john

John,

Though Dominick is in his mid 80's, he does considerable amounts of travel.

ME!  I'm fully retired and at home MOST OF THE TIME.

BEST to send me THE WINE, and I'll deliver to Dominick when he is back from his next trip.

SWEAR!!!!

Midway Tommy

Great book & find! Those guys, along with Sergio DiMarco, know more about the history of Italian made spinning reels and their manufacture than pretty much any body in the world.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)
