A couple sets of the Penn Monofil reels.  From left to right #25, 26 and 27.
On the bottom are the brown/dark maroon reels and the reels above are
gray, green, and rose.  The green 26's are from about 1956.  I am not sure about
the age of the other reels.  If anyone has an idea regarding the age of these reels
please let me know.  I believe the rose # 27 reel is the rarest of the group.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Nice collection.  I am amazed at variety of color variations back then.  I used to think that all penns were either black or maroon red.  I only thought that colors were something of TODAY'S reels (Accurate, Avet, purple, red, blue, and pink newells, etc).  I could imagine the excitement that fisherman felt seeing a green or a gray Penn back then....ooohhhh, totally cool!
