My 9/0 spool is all still good , i forgot that i HAVE used  that reel since then, with no problem  at all , but i will keep it in mind not to leave the line on tight after a big catch. I am running 80lb stren on that 9/0 one piece spool probably 500 yards or so.  Thanks all for your advise. 8)
