Hello Everyone,

I just picked up these two 114H's from a gentleman on Craigslist. The reels were mounted on "Allen's Sport" rods. A company that I never heard of. One reel is going to be mounted on my Sabre Stroker, while the other reel will have to wait for me to buy another rod for it. I am going to take them apart soon and service them. I really want to hot rod them with Stainless Steel just because, but we'll see what my wife lets me get away with.

Regards,
Dan

Nice going Dan. "Just because" is a good enuogh reason to upgrade to me ;).
Look around, we have a way of doubling the drag capacity on those.
Good luck with your project.
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Nice accessible drag reels. I like the burgundy colored plates better than the newer red reels. Good score. Bob
