Was wondering if Alan or anyone for that matter has come across any of these reels or had experience using them

Saw one in my local tackle shop today ,reduced in price and with a voucher burning a hole in my pocket
Seems solidly built ,if a little heavy, but have to say it looks the part whether it can act the part is the bigger question .

yes, i've seen these before.  they are asian knock offs.  i would not trust them.

Suspected as much Alan,they look good but had a bad feeling for some reason.........anyway your word is good enough for me so I will be avoiding it ............thanks for the info
