I wish Bryan & Lee would hurry up with the 5+1 for the 300h. It will fit the 50h & 350h also. They have been working on that project since last year.      Rudy

These are great reels right out of the box. All they need is a drag upgrade to work with mono.

They are not limited to mono, braid & dacron work well to. I use my 900h for small to medium sized sharks w/500m of 100# braid under the mono 80# top shot. I use my 600h w/500m of 80# braid under a 60# top shot of mono. All my Daiwa Sealines down to the 300h use at least 1/2 spool of braid under the mono.

It appears that Sal's pic's are no longer viewable in this thread.  I just purchased a 900H, a 600H, and am now looking at a 300H.  I got Alan's upgraded stack for the 900H.

I think Bryan said his 600H kits (5+1 configuration) are on back order.  I see Dawn at Smoothdrag has a 3 set of "smoothies", which I believe are not carbon fiber.

What is available for the 300H?  Is there a 5+1 kit available, or do I just keep it at the 3+1 configuration that is there currently?  I see Dawn at Smoothdrag as a 3+1 CF set.

Thanks all.
