here,s a thought for your rays
take a 12" piece of water pipe and sharpen the end.
then punch out 1" pieces out of the flaps.
mix them with, crab,lobster,or scallop meat.
they will taste just like their host.
how do i know this?
a pro fisherman here in oz got caught! ;D

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Here are two pics of the CarbonTex washers and the inside of the reel plate.

The only thing I see about them is that they are real shiny. The metal washers took some abuse as I had them polished out.


This photo shows where the bottom of the gear sleeve rubbed the inside of the plate. That was polished out also.


Overall though, looks as if everything survived.
