Hello crowd.  I've been following the forum for a while - today had the pleasure of meeting Alan, and even got a remedial lesson on reel maintenance.  Quite an honor.   Thanks to all of you for the information you share here.

Hello Alan , I am a new member on this board, I am a long  time long rod jig fisherman still using my Newell reels, I am very interested in the 500 series 5+1 drag system , if you could help me with this that would be great thx Steve Leonhart
