QUESTIONS & DRAGWASHERS NEEDED FOR OLDER MODEL DAIWA REEL

Hi there Alan & members.

I have some questions & seek advice/spares please.

I have an older model DAIWA reel, nl SL30H (And three (3) 350HK's)(Just love their bruteness).

I stripped my DAIWA Sealine 30H.
First thing I noticed from the schematics is that my reel does not have the Parts nr. 35 – Spool Adjusting Cap Metal, & nr. 36 - No Friction Ring.
Question - Are these parts still available somewhere in the world ?

Of interest is that I noted that my reel nor the schematics indicate a Spool Adjusting Spring!
Does this model need one or not?

Then my last question – Are the drag washers replaceable with Carbontex washers & if yes, where can I obtain the correct model/part numbers, & do you know where it could be obtained from?

I would hate to see my reel go to the "shelf of history" if I don't manage.

Any referrals to someone else who could assist would be appreciated.

Dawn at Smooth Drag should have your Drag Washers / the washer that goes under the Main Gear. I bought  the Drags for my 50H from her.

As for parts I would call Daiwa @ 562-375-6800 or 800-736-4653. They still have a good stock of parts.
