Hi Guys,

I'm servicing a buddy's spinning reel now.
I noticed the spool has a bearing supported feature, its unshielded and located under the drag washer.

Is it ok to use Cals drag grease to lube this bearing ?
Im worried about lube mixing if i use cals on the washer and shimano gease on the bearing.

;D

Yes you can, Cal's works well for bearings.

I use Cal's grease in bearing that are used in the spools as the grease may come in contact with the drag washers.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D
