So you work at an acrylic factory...Do yal have the liquid acryli that Taxidermist use to make water splash effects for fish mounts. I think i Nice clean big reel would look awesome mounted in a big splash of water.

No Chris, Its made in 3500 to 10000 lb batches and poured through a 1/4 mile long casting machine, then its cut to size or rolled on a reel. We have four of these machines. Its mass production. Once the syrup is catalyzed, It has to be under a nitrogen Blanket and a chilled water jacketed vessel. It is very unstable above 50 degrees farenheit. once it exotherms inside the machine, it comes out hard, flat and shiny.

Sounds similar to polymer extrusion science..stuff is very temperature sensitive.

I was curious if my Plinth could hold the weight of a 14/0.

Even loaded with 130lb mono, it was no problem! ;D
