Are the 115L2 reels that bad? I believe they work with Tom's new half frames; if you replace the gears, sleeve, crank arm and handle, combined with the frame is it still an inferior reel?

I don't own any of the china made reels. They do have stainless rings. It may not be the best quality stainless but its still a plus. Only five side plate screws on each side. Time will tell. Bob
