Title: DIY speed bullet
Post by: JasonGotaProblem on January 28, 2023, 02:45:15 PM
I ordered a brass speed bullet/speed bushing from blakdog at the beginning of the month. They shipped it promptly. Then apparently the Royal mail got some ransomware and now they're probably at the bottom of a cup of tea somewhere. Not blakdog's fault. I talked to them, they're super chill.

But I'm easily bored. So I just made my own aluminum version. Kinda rough around the edges but this isn't meant to be a permanent solution. But dang it, it works. I didn't expect much of a change but I definitely added some freespool time.

I may have a brass one somewhere in one of my reel part bins. I can try to dig it out for you if you're in need?

Very kind of you. I have no reason to believe blakdog wouldnt send out additional ones if the originals never show up. That wasn't the issue. I just got bored and made my own.
