Title: Baitrunner 12000D Spool Part Question
Post by: 1Morecast17 on April 01, 2015, 04:34:37 AM
So I picked up a 12000D Baitrunner and hooked into a big bat ray on it and now the clicker doesn't work any more. I took off the spool and noticed that the piece in the picture below is broken. (The metal broke in half) Does anyone know what this part is called and if Shimano has a replacement part for it?

Thanks for any advice guys.

Here is a link to the shimano site, including the schematic, parts list, and order screen...

https://fishshop.shimano.com/vip/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT<>prd_id=845524441848569&SKU<>sku_id=1689949372101434

and here is the AT tuturol link...

I don't see the part number listed.  Not sure if they will sell you this part seperately.  It appears to be considered part of the entire spool assembly (RD13575).  They want $53 for the entire spool assembly.  For this price (or near it) you may be able to find a used or parts reel.

You may have to give Shimano a call....

"Need help? Contact Customer Service. (877)577-0600"

Are you sure the clicker pawl is broken?  If it is just getting more quiet, progressively..you may need a new spool support (RD7588), or take a file to it, to make the depressions more 'crisp'.
