Title: advice on a tuna reel?!
Post by: plc16 on September 04, 2009, 09:07:33 PM
Hey guys, I need some advice on a good tuna reel. I live in NJ and want to start trying for some inshore maybe mid range tuna 20-30 miles so not neccessarily huge fish( although you never know) but has to have backbone. I'm partial to Penn and want to put it on a med pole mostly jiggn' i guess.  I think maybe 30-40 lb test. Any suggestions? thanx

the baja special.   clean out the spool bearings, pack the non-spool bearings with grease, grease the drag washers, grease all of the screw holes and add a 6/0 kolekar grip!
