I have a Newell 300 reel the spool Wiggles back-and-forth heard there's a bushing to stop it from happening but I can't find them help
Might be as easy as googling it. Couldn't be that easy, could it?
They're showing one unit with the spring, is it a bushing or a bearing?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the 300 series aftermarket parts that fit penn jigmasters? Could be bearing cup shims or bearing shims he's looking for. Or were there spool shaft spacers (bushings) to make up the difference between spools?
The Right side BEARING CUP is suppose to be snug not tight. The spool adjustment is made on the left side Bearing Cup. In side the LEFT Bearing CUP there should be a spacer then the bearing & the spool shaft in the Bearing.

I think it's a spacer shim I am missing unfortunately I'm not sure
If it's on the Left - Clicker side - it is a spacer. You don't want the spool to have zero play. A little play is good 1/32" is OK
Mike
I think that is what I need hard to say because I don't have one in there
PM your info to me & I will find 1 for you
