Hi guys, Can anyone give me some information about this Taiwanese made 24kg 6ft Shimano Triton Beastmaster rod I picked up a few days ago. Judging by the other Shimano rods & reels that came with it, I assume it was made somewhere around 1990. Anyone ?

That sounds about right. I have a couple of lighter models.
