I was contacted by someone who attempted to service his own reel and can't get it back together. He may have to send it in but is still hoping for help. Does anyone have a photo breakdown of a millionaire 300L? The schematic isn't showing him enough detail to figure it out.
not that i know of. it's pretty straight forward, but it really helps to have an intact reel because then you can go straight in and straight out. it can be tough, otherwise. :-\
Isn't it like the Luna 300.
Mike
Is this the one?

Looks a bit like the Millionaire "S" we get here.
A cheap reel that hijacked the Millionaire name to boost sales.
An appalling practice by Daiwa sometimes fostered on an unsuspecting public!

yes, I believe that's the reel he has. Not exactly sure where he's hung up, just got some parts mixed up and can't remember how they go. Pictures folks, take lots of pictures.
Can't seem to find any rebuilds of this reel on the net.
I read on another forum that the Millionaire Classic is a knockoff of an ABU Ambassadeur.
Looking at the schematics this rings true.
The clutch release mechanism is all too familiar so an ABU classic 6000 series rebuild may provide some clues for your friend.
