Not many by hoarding standards. Not "complete" by collecting standards. More than I need by fishing standards, which is my primary motivation.

Hi
Wondering if anyone can help me out with a list of the Calcutta 400 models that have a spool bushing rather than a bearing.

Thanks!

thanks for this post, & all the info, it looks great, I do up cork handles on rods, if you give the cork, just one coat of thread inhancer, it should look great,  last for many years, any more than one coat, makes it to slippery, cheers Don.

I am a fishing gear makeup brand gomexus. I am very happy to see this beauty makeup photo you shared. Luckily, I did not miss it! Browsing the web is my go-to way of getting inspired.I think it's really cool and I hope to use it on our designs.

Hi Steve,

With the drop shot rig, would you hook the bait sideways through the nose or vertically starting from the lower jaw to the nose?

Thanks

Quote from: akfish on May 21, 2024, 05:57:32 PMHmm. Doesn't this mean that the sardine can't really swim? That has to affect the effectiveness doesn't it? A dropper rig with the bait on a foot or two of leader would look more natural I would think...

The great thing about this rig is you can drop it fast and get it to the zone before the fish are gone and it can't tangle.

It does limit the baits ability to swim a lot but it does still move around a lot.

Exactly!
