Sorry, best help I can offer is a bump here to see if mitchellmaster sees it and a recommendation to post at stripersonline.com as a number of mitchell guys post there too.

Someone at Mike's Reel Repair may know as well, they sell Mitchell parts.

Try going on the forum at the mitchell museum website. There are a lot of men there with vast Mitchell parts knowledge.

The notes I stored on my phone shows 9 x 17 x 6 for the 302/402 reels.

Try going on the forum at the Mitchell museum website.

Last time I checked, my virus program flashed a huge red warning that mitchellreelmuseum dot com was infected with malware... be careful!  :P

I tried going here as well and my new PC got all wonky and would not allow me entrance...darn sad.  Hopefully the site owner cleans it up!  I just picked up a 486 that I want to get into action on an old Conolon 11' Heavy and was looking for info... :-[

Dan, you don't want the 486, you want the 488 with a bigger rotor / spool, so just drop it in the mail to me :)
