Title: DAIWA PMF57 vs PS57
Post by: hurt locker on October 02, 2020, 08:29:36 PM
Was looking on the big auction site for another PMF57 to no avail but the secondary search showed a PS57 Standard. Never knew they existed. Differences are 4.3/1 ratio instead of 5.1/1, bushings on the spool instead of bearings and centrifugal brakes instead of a Mag. Body and frame size are the same.

I would think that the difference wouldn't be much, sort of like a Penn 506 vs 501.  I prefer the bushing model for salt water anyway. They seem to cast just as well.

I say snatch it up before someone reads this and undercuts you.  You know they don't come up often.

That's it in the picture on the right side. Virtually
brand new. Had the standard Daiwa pressed fiber drag washers, now it has Penn levelmatic  910 leather washers in it. Silky smooth. It is going on to hunt Flatheads next year.
