As I'm new to phone send it on Alan's site only one picture was sent... it's as follows... use a round double cut file and rough up the next inside of the plactice or metal. Then drill some holes as shown....epoxy as usual... wipe excess epoxy 2 x w acetone n let set. The holes are riveting the seat to the blank. Work great 👍🙇♀️🚤⚓️
In addition I will use nylon cord over an epoxy coating with some nylon dry wall mesh tape to get the desired fit as shown below. Good insurance !!
