Title: Gooseneck hose tip - where can I buy one?
Post by: Gobi King on October 06, 2020, 03:42:11 PM

I have a Ford Transit which has a 6R80 Transmission.

I am planning on vac pumping out fluid through the fill/dip stick hole.

where can I get a gooseneck nose attachment so I can use it to fill the trans while the fill hose hangs in the fill hole?

I think I would start at an auto parts store.

Do you have the rest of the works, like the pump? Bring it with you.

A brake line might work, either a prebent one or you might need to bend one and/or cut off one end, or look at the flexible ones. I think that would be easy to figure out if you know what you can attached to your pump.

Rob,
I have a brake line flare tool and probably a bender too.

Looking at youtube last night, I found one guy had taken a garden sprayer and replaced the plastic wand with an aluminum tube and had bent it like  in your pic.
