I have this reel in the shop that was brought in no working at all. The main issue was the dogs were stuck. No problem. I got a pinion bearing from Alan T to fix the second problem.
I ordered parts from Accurate to fix one more problem.
In the schematic you see the C clip that holds the high and low speed gears together. When it was opened that clip was broken. Now that I have the new C clip I find that the low speed gear has no place for the clip to catch on. You can pull the gear assembly apart.
The low speed gear is key 45 and the clip is key 50.
